A message from the chairman

I am delighted to say our new website running on Sailing Club Manager is now up and running.  Sailing Club Manager is a bespoke sailing club system bringing web, race management, duties and membership under one umbrella.

This has involved a lot more work than we probably originally anticipated, from cleaning up the membership data, to tailoring the entry system for our regatta races, and scoring and duties.

Now we are up and running there is space for articles and pictures, current and back copies of Boatpool are already loaded.

A big personal thank you to all those involved in making this happen over the last year .

You will have received an email with your log in instructions also containing some video clips on how to navigate the new site.

Please remember that it is a members responsibility to ensure their data is correct and updated as and when necessary, your email address is really our first line of contact .

Two footnotes the AGM and welcome drinks will be  in the village hall on Saturday 29th July at 6.30 ( half an hour later than normal) as the Regatta race 1 is at 4 pm.

Following my email earlier this year regarding the one way system, the highway committee recommended to the Council that it does not go ahead pending further monitoring of the traffic around Rhosneigr.

I wish you all well, the countdown to Race Week 2023 feels like it is starting andI look forward to seeing you in the Summer.
